In case you may not have heard the details, Yahoo, MSN and AOL have agreed to shut down their services for one hour on Thursday of this week from 11am to 12noon EDT in honor of the various earth hour efforts sparked by the WWF (the wildlife group, not the group who does body slams).
This is an unprecedented moment and if you didn't believe that companies were taking the whole resource preservation issue seriously, this should change your opinion.
