According to a forecast from the PKF Hospitality Research Group, the predicted hotel occupancy rate for U.S. hotels in 2009 will be 55.7%. That is not a good prediction for their business.
Of course, in New York, which is where i travel to, that won't translate to many cheaper rates.
It was 60% last year and 63% the year before.
